The war in Afghanistan has been going on for more than 42 years. Numerous people are severely disabled on both sides of the Durand Line.
Some are blind with 2 eyes, some have lost 2 hands or 2 legs, some have lost both hands and legs, and some have other serious injuries. These are all severely handicapped people who cannot work and cannot earn money for a living.
For 20 years, the governments of Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani have shown hardly interest at all in these people. Some mafia gangs have enriched themselves with the money for the poor people and operate drug trafficking and crime with it.
As soon as a correct government takes power in Afghanistan, we want those severely disabled people who do not receive a pension to be examined by state medical officers and recorded electronically. All severely disabled people who meet the relevant requirements should receive US $ 30 per month from the state treasury.
